“Embracing Shadows”

“Embrace your darkness, for within its depths lies the true beauty of your light.”

In the dance of shadows and light,
We cast silhouettes in the night,
With each step we take, a fleeting glance,
Of the darkness, we often enhance.

But when the light reveals our shade,
Some voices rise, afraid and dismayed,
“Why so dark?” they question with fear,
As if darkness itself they cannot bear.

Yet shadows are part of the whole,
Embracing them makes us whole,
For in the depths, we find our might,
And learn to shine in the darkest night.

So let us not shun the shadows’ grace,
But embrace them in our life’s embrace,
For in their depth, we find our truth,
And from darkness, we gain our youth.

Like stars that twinkle in the night,
Our shadows dance, a wondrous sight,
And in their dance, we find our art,
Embracing shadows, we find our heart
